Touch a Truck Southpoint: Bus
The 2016 Touch a Truck event will take place on Saturday March 12th, from 10am to 2pm. Children with sensory issues are welcome to come before the event starts, from 9am to 10am, for a quieter experience. Tickets are $5 each or $15 for a family of 4 (children under 2 are free).

Almost every kid I know (even some big ones) LOVE exploring trucks, buses, ambulances, fire trucks, police cars, bulldozers, etc. Even better when you can climb aboard, check out the driver’s seat, and maybe even honk a horn or two!

Touch a Truck hosted by the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties is just that sort of opportunity. The 4th annual event is coming up in a couple of weeks and, along with a wide variety of vehicles, will feature several local team mascots, games, the chance to participate in the Indent-a-Kid program, and more.

There is a small admission fee for entrance. Proceeds from Touch A Truck will benefit the Junior League of Durham & Orange Counties and their work toward their focus area of helping children develop to their full potential. This includes a partnership with the Durham Performance Learning Center, a Communities in Schools initiative, and a recently launched anti-bullying initiative.
