We are lucky that we live in such a vibrant and active community that offers so many family-friendly activities to enjoy. The challenge for me as a parent is deciding which ones are the best options in terms of type of activity, cost, location, duration, etc. So I thought it would be fun to post a few that look especially promising each week, watch for it every Wednesday going forward; and if you know of something coming up please be sure to email me and I will include it.
Here are 5 that looked good to me this weekend:
1. All Star Fan Fest and Block Party at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Saturday, July 12th
2. For the comic book fans Chapel Hill Comics is having the Greatest Signing of All Time/Neal Sold the Store Party on Saturday, July 12th
3. How I Became a Pirate Storybook Theater at the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh to benefit Marbles
4. The always awesome Carrboro Farmers Market on Saturday morning, I’ll be there with my crew picking out Sunday supper
5. The Bynum Front Porch always offers a relaxed, family fun time
